A country code is the short number that tells a phone network which country a number belongs to, and the 89PHP country code you meet is +63. It sits at the start of the phone number field on the lobby’s login and register panels, so your number goes after it. To open the panel first, follow where the 89PHP login panel sits, then come back here for the number format.

Country code on the 89PHP login form

Both panels, read on 12 October 2026, open with the +63 prefix already placed in front of the phone number field. The placeholder inside the field reads “9***** Fill in your phone number”, which shows the first digit you type is a 9. The account name on the lobby is this mobile number, since there is no username field.

63 country code in the ITU’s own numbering plan

The ITU, the United Nations agency for telecommunications, publishes the numbering plan in Recommendation E.164, titled The international public telecommunication numbering plan. The ITU’s record on that page lists the E.164 edition of 02/26 as in force. Its list of assigned country codes, in the edition saved for this page, prints Philippines (Republic of the) against 63.

  1. Country code: 63.
  2. International prefix, in the ITU’s older dialling procedures list: 00.
  3. National (trunk) prefix, in the same list: 0.
  4. National number length, in the same list: 8 to 10 digits.

The ITU’s dialling procedures say that in the international service the trunk prefix of the destination country must not be dialled. That is why the 0 drops away after +63.

Typing a +63 number: the leading 0

A +63 number is written without the 0 that begins the number when you dial it inside the Philippines. The lobby has already printed +63, so you only add the digits that follow.

  1. Take your mobile number as you dial it at home, for example 0912 345 6789.
  2. Remove the first 0, leaving 912 345 6789.
  3. Type those ten digits into the phone number field after the +63 prefix.
  4. Check that the first digit you typed is 9, matching the placeholder.

The number 0912 345 6789 is made up for this page and does not belong to anyone.

Common typing mistakes

Problem

The number starts with 0 after the prefix

Fix

Delete the first 0. The field already shows +63, and the placeholder points to a 9 as the first digit.

Problem

The prefix is typed twice

Fix

If you typed 63 or +63 into the field, clear it and enter only the ten digits that begin with 9.

Problem

The number is not the one you registered with

Fix

The account name is the mobile number from the register panel. Try the other SIM you own, and read why a phone number login fails if it still refuses.

If the digits are right and you have forgotten the password, the reset password route starts from the same +63 field.

FAQ

What country is +63?

The Philippines. The ITU's list of assigned country codes prints Philippines (Republic of the) against 63, and the lobby's phone field starts with that prefix already.

Do I type the 0 after +63 on the 89PHP lobby?

No. The 0 is the national prefix you dial inside the country. After +63 you start with the digit that follows it, which for a mobile number is a 9.

Bakit hindi tinatanggap ang number ko sa login?

Madalas dahil may dagdag na 0 sa unahan o dalawang beses ang +63. Burahin ang sobra at i-type ang 10 digits na nagsisimula sa 9.
