89PHP Trace Number: Find the Reference on a Transfer
A trace number is the reference a transfer carries so the sender, the receiving bank or wallet and support can all find the same payment.
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| 89PHP GCash Linked Accounts | In the GCash app, Profile > Subscription Center lists every app, website and merchant linked to your wallet, and Unlink removes one. |
| 89PHP GCash Change Number | GCash's own help page says a mobile number change means requesting a fund transfer to your new number, using the Help Center's Transfer Funds & Services route. |
| 89PHP GCash Maintenance Today | A page written in advance cannot know today's status. |
| 89PHP GCash Number | Your GCash number is the mobile number the wallet is registered to, and your GCash name is the name on that profile. |
| 89PHP Maya Account Number | A Maya account number depends on the account: for the Maya wallet it is your Maya-registered mobile number, and for Maya Savings it is a separate 12-digit number shown under My Savings. |
A trace number is the reference a transfer carries so the sender, the receiving bank or wallet and support can all find the same payment. When a payout has not arrived, it is the one detail that turns “it did not come” into something a team can look up. This page shows where the reference sits on GCash and Maya, how InstaPay and PESONet references differ, and who to give it to; the wider route from request to wallet is in the withdrawal method pillar page.
Trace number: what the wallets and the Bangko Sentral call it
GCash and Maya do not use the words “trace number” in their saved help pages. They call the same thing a reference number, a Reference ID or a Ref No., and the Bangko Sentral’s InstaPay FAQ notes that some institutions provide a transaction receipt to the sender.
| Source | Name it uses |
|---|---|
| GCash, QR payment page | Reference ID, unique to each charge |
| GCash, Scam Protection page | Reference no. on the transaction receipt |
| Maya, bank transfer concern page | InstaPay Ref No., 6 digits |
| Maya, PESONet page | Reference number |
Anyone searching for a trace number is looking for this item.
Where to find the reference in GCash and Maya
Both wallets keep it with the transaction. For GCash, the steps below come from its transaction history and wrong-number pages.
- Open the GCash app and tap Transactions.
- Find the payout; GCash shows the past 90 days, 15 transactions at a time, with Load More below.
- Open the transaction. GCash’s Scam Protection page asks for a screenshot of the receipt with its reference no., so the receipt is the item to find.
- For anything older, tap Request transaction history and choose a date range of up to 4 years.
For Maya, its help pages say to check the reference number in your transaction history or on the receipt. After a bank transfer, Maya’s InstaPay page tells you to tap View receipt for proof of the transaction.
InstaPay and PESONet references
The reference you read depends on the network that carried the money. The Bangko Sentral’s InstaPay FAQ describes InstaPay as almost instant, 24x7, with funds received almost immediately, and PESONet as same day.
Maya’s help page gives a way to match an InstaPay payment across two apps: the 6-digit InstaPay Ref No. in your Maya history should match the last 6 digits of the Invoice Number or Reference Number in the recipient bank’s details. PESONet is not real time, and Maya publishes this posting schedule for it.
| Transaction time | Expected posting |
|---|---|
| 12:01 AM to 10:00 AM | By 10:00 AM the same day |
| 10:01 AM to 1:00 PM | By 1:00 PM the same day |
| 1:01 PM to 4:00 PM | By 4:00 PM the same day |
| 4:01 PM to 12:00 AM | By 10:00 AM on the next available banking day |
| Weekend or holiday | By 10:00 AM on the next available banking day |
Compare the time on your receipt with this table before you call a payout late.
Using the trace number when a payout has not arrived
Work in this order, and keep the same reference through every step.
- Check your wallet’s status page for an outage. Maya says a transfer hit by an outage is processed automatically afterwards: returned to your account the next banking day, or sent to the recipient within 2 banking days. The GCash maintenance notices page says where GCash posts its own.
- Read the reference in your transaction history or receipt.
- Ask the receiving side to look for it. Maya suggests asking the recipient to check whether the reference appears in the bank’s transaction details.
- Wait. Maya says to allow 2 banking days after the expected posting window before taking the next step.
- Contact the receiving bank or wallet with the amount, the date and time and the reference, as Maya lists them.
- If that fails, the Bangko Sentral’s InstaPay FAQ says to report a concern first to the institution involved, and only then escalate to the Bangko Sentral.
GCash also tells senders to report wrong-number disputes within 15 days of the transaction, with an update expected in 1 to 3 business days.
What to give the casino’s support
The sender of a casino payout is the casino, so its support needs the reference as much as your wallet does. A plain message does the job: the amount you expected, the date and time of the request, the number you registered, and the reference you can see. Do not send a second request; two requests mean two references to untangle.
On the 89PHP lobby, the pre-login notice ties withdrawals to the GCash or Maya number you register, so the number in your message should be that one. If an unfamiliar charge sits beside your payout in Transactions, the steps on seeing GCash linked accounts show which merchants are attached to your wallet. For the networks behind wallet payouts, see casino payment methods in the Philippines.
FAQ
What is a trace number on a transfer?
It is the reference number attached to one transfer. The wallets' help pages call it a reference number, reference ID or Ref No., and it lets support find the exact payment.
Where do I find the reference number in Maya?
Maya's help pages say to check the reference number shown in your Maya transaction history or receipt. For InstaPay, Maya shows a 6-digit Ref No. in the history.
What do I do with it if a payout has not arrived?
Give it to the sender, which is the casino's support, and to your wallet's help chat. Maya also lists the amount, the date and time and the reference as the details the receiving bank or e-wallet needs.
Should I send a second withdrawal request while I wait?
No. Check your wallet's transaction history and status page first, because a second request gives support two payments to untangle.
