89PHP GCash Number: Read Your Number and Registered Name

Your GCash number is the mobile number the wallet is registered to, and your GCash name is the name on that profile.

89PHP GCash Change NumberGCash's own help page says a mobile number change means requesting a fund transfer to your new number, using the Help Center's Transfer Funds & Services route.
89PHP GCash Maintenance TodayA page written in advance cannot know today's status.
89PHP Maya Account NumberA Maya account number depends on the account: for the Maya wallet it is your Maya-registered mobile number, and for Maya Savings it is a separate 12-digit number shown under My Savings.
89PHP Trace NumberA trace number is the reference a transfer carries so the sender, the receiving bank or wallet and support can all find the same payment.

Your GCash number is the mobile number your wallet is registered to, and your GCash name is the name on that profile. A casino cashier holds a number and a name too, and a payout works when the three line up. This page shows where to read each in the app and how the same number is written in two forms; the wider route from request to wallet is in the withdrawal method overview.

What your GCash number is

GCash ties an account to a mobile number. GCash’s own help page on changing a name makes the link plain: it tells anyone passing a mobile number to a new owner to close the existing account first, because GCash accounts are non-transferable. So the number is the identity of the wallet, and a casino cashier compares that number with the one on the account.

GCash’s limits page adds that an adult can create up to five accounts, linked to one customer profile, each with its own number.

Where to read your GCash number and name in the app

GCash’s help pages send you to the same place for your details. Its “Update my account information” page starts the route like this.

  1. Open your GCash app.
  2. Go to Profile and tap on your name.
  3. Tap Update Account Information, then Update Your Profile, to review the details GCash holds.
  4. Compare the name on screen with the name on your casino account.

GCash’s transaction-history page gives a second clue: the PDF it emails is locked with your last name in lowercase followed by the last 4 digits of your mobile number, for example delacruz1234. If a screen in a newer app version looks different, the app is the authority on what it shows.

Your GCash name and the cashier

The GCash name is the half of the match people forget. Take two worked examples.

When a name on the wallet is wrong, GCash’s own help page covers it for Fully Verified accounts: a surname change after a change in civil status, a minor spelling error, a suffix such as Jr. or III, or a legal change of name. You attach a document, and GCash says the profile is updated within 3 days with an SMS when done. Fix the wallet first, then the casino account.

The 09 and +63 forms of one number

A Philippine mobile number is written two ways, and a form that asks for one will not accept the other. The ITU’s dialling table lists the Philippines with country code 63 and national prefix 0, which is the rule behind the swap: drop the leading 0, add +63.

FormExample patternDigits
National (09)09XX XXX XXXX11
International (+63)+63 9XX XXX XXXX10 after +63

Maya’s own help page calls a registered mobile number an 11-digit number, which matches the 09 form. The 89PHP register panel shows a +63 prefix beside its phone number field, so type the part that starts with 9.

Why both must match what a cashier holds

On 89PHP the pre-login “Important Notice” reads “THIS NUMBER IS YOUR GCASH / MAYA FOR WITHDRAWALS” and points at the phone number field. The register panel prints “Wallet linked automatically” beneath it. Deposit and Withdraw ask you to log in, and the method list, limits and fees are read there.

  1. Register with a number whose wallet is in your own name.
  2. Read the same number and name in the GCash app, as above.
  3. If you use Maya as well, keep its wallet number apart from its savings number; the Maya wallet number page shows the split.
  4. After a payout, keep the reference; the trace number page explains it.

The payment rail itself is described on the GCash casino payments page.

FAQ

What is my GCash number?

It is the mobile number your GCash wallet is registered to. In the 09 form it has 11 digits; in the +63 form it has 10 digits after the prefix.

Does the name on my GCash have to match the casino account?

Yes, use the same name on both. The 89PHP lobby treats the number you register as your wallet for withdrawals, and a cashier compares the number and the name it holds with your wallet.

Can I change the name on my GCash?

GCash's own help page lets Fully Verified users request a name or birthday change with a supporting document, and says the profile is updated within 3 days with an SMS once done.

I have more than one GCash account. Which number do I use?

Use the account in your own name whose number is registered on the casino account. GCash's help pages say an adult can hold up to five accounts under one customer profile.
