89PHP GCash Linked Accounts: See What Is Tied to Your Wallet
In the GCash app, Profile > Subscription Center lists every app, website and merchant linked to your wallet, and Unlink removes one.
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Step 1 | Open Subscription Center |
| Step 2 | Review the linked list |
| Step 3 | Select the merchant |
| Step 4 | Tap Unlink twice |
| Step 5 | Wait for the confirmation |
GCash linked accounts are the apps, websites and merchants that can charge your wallet, and you can read and edit that list yourself. This page shows the five steps in GCash’s own Subscription Center, explains what “linked” means, and separates it from the lobby note that reads “Wallet linked automatically”. The wider route from a withdrawal request to your wallet is in the withdrawal method overview.
GCash linked accounts: three things the word can mean
“Linked” is used for three different things, and mixing them up is how people unlink the wrong item.
| Meaning | Where it is read | Source |
|---|---|---|
| A merchant allowed to charge your wallet | Profile > Subscription Center | GCash’s Subscription Center page |
| Several GCash accounts under one customer profile | GCash’s limits page | GCash’s limits page, effective 1 October 2026 |
| A lobby note about the number you register | The register panel’s line under the phone number field | The 89PHP lobby, read on 12 October 2026 |
GCash’s page describes Subscription Center as the place to see which apps, websites and merchants are linked to your account for payments, in one list.
Steps to see and remove GCash linked accounts
These are GCash’s steps for unlinking a merchant, in its order.
- Open the GCash app and tap Profile > Subscription Center.
- Review the list of linked apps, websites and merchants.
- Select the merchant you want to remove.
- Tap Unlink and review the details.
- Tap Unlink again, then wait for the confirmation screen, an in-app message and an SMS.
GCash’s help center adds that when a merchant is unlinked it can no longer charge your account for future payments or subscriptions. A refund request goes to the merchant, not to GCash.
Link GCash to a merchant, and link it again
To link GCash, you start on the merchant’s side. GCash’s help page for an accidental unlink says to open the merchant’s app or website and choose GCash as your payment method. GCash’s account-management page also lists “Link GCash as a payment method” for your subscriptions or online apps as a task of its own.
Take an example: a streaming subscription you removed by mistake. Open that subscription’s own site, pick GCash at checkout, and it appears in Subscription Center again. If GCash itself unlinked you, as it did for a list of online merchants in a GCash advisory, the advisory says to re-link on the merchant’s website when the merchant is not on its list.
Linked wallet: what “Wallet linked automatically” means at 89PHP
This section describes a note on the lobby’s form, not a GCash feature. The 89PHP pre-login “Important Notice” reads “THIS NUMBER IS YOUR GCASH / MAYA FOR WITHDRAWALS” and points at the phone number field, and the register panel prints “Wallet linked automatically” under that field.
- The number you register is the number the lobby treats as your wallet for withdrawals.
- The note is the lobby’s own wording on its form, and GCash’s pages do not describe it.
- Your GCash app’s own screen is where you see what GCash itself has linked.
- After login, Deposit and Withdraw show the method list, limits and fees.
GCash’s help page on gaming access says the Games service left the app on 16 August 2025 under BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 and that gaming merchants set their own withdrawal minimums, so a casino sits outside GCash as a merchant. If you change the number later, settle it using the steps on the GCash change number page.
When the Subscription Center list looks wrong
GCash’s FAQ covers four common problems. Each has a fix in the table.
| Problem | GCash’s fix |
|---|---|
| Subscription Center will not open | Update the app, check your connection, close and reopen it, restart the phone; on Android, clear the app cache |
| You cannot find the merchant | Check the Expired tab, then the Active tab for a Google or Apple merchant |
| Merchant details are wrong | Log in, tap Help, then Chat with Gigi |
| Merchant still shows after unlinking | Some merchants are still updating their systems; payments after unlinking show an error |
If an outage is the cause, read today’s GCash maintenance notices before you retry.
Linked GCash accounts under one profile
GCash’s limits page uses “linked” for a second meaning: adults can create up to five accounts, automatically linked to one customer profile, and minors one. When you hold two or more, the highest limits apply to all of them, and the totals are not combined.
For example, if one account has a PHP 500,000 limit and another PHP 1,000,000, the limit for both becomes PHP 1,000,000. If mobile number A has already received PHP 1,000,000 in a month, your other linked accounts cannot receive funds until the first day of the next month. Use a number in your own name for any casino registration; the wallet rail is described on the GCash casino payments page.
FAQ
How do I see which accounts are linked to my GCash?
GCash's own help page says to log in, tap Profile > Subscription Center and review the list of linked apps, websites and merchants.
What does Wallet linked automatically mean on the 89PHP register panel?
It is a note printed under the phone number field. Together with the pre-login notice about GCash and Maya for withdrawals, it means the lobby treats the number you register as your wallet. Your GCash app's own screen shows what GCash itself has linked.
Does unlinking close my account with the merchant?
No. GCash's page says unlinking only removes GCash as your payment method and stops future charges; it does not close your account with the merchant.
I unlinked by mistake. How do I link again?
GCash says to open the merchant's app or website and choose GCash as your payment method.
